Presented by the Shambhala Meditation Center of Atlanta

Sentience: A Compassionate Sound Wave was a concert of classical chamber music inspired by meditations on Earth’s natural processses, an appreciation for plant life as sentient beings, and a mindful approach to our human relationship with the phenomenal world.

The program included compositions inspired from actual wilderness excursions, in depth study of regional plant life, and mindful appreciation for our human existence.  Musical compositions resulted from extreme adventures in Alaska’s Denali N.P.; Montana’s Glacier N.P. and Mission Mountain Range; Georgia’s   Davidson-Arabia Mountain Preserve, Cohutta Wilderness Area; and Atlanta’s commonly thriving urban flora.

Individual audio files can be listened to under the “Composition: Classical” main menu item.
